Our Leadership Philosophy

The Mission of The Leadership Center is to demonstrate leadership in Executive Search and Human Resources Management.

The definition at left from Vance Packard describes leadership qualities we correctly attribute to Presidents and CEOs. At The Leadership Center we also believe that the Packard definition says that the salesperson, the accountant, the blue-collar supervisor, and the receptionist – all have possibilities for leadership. All have the ability to demonstrate leadership in the way that they influence people and ideas, and accomplish their work.

At TLC we believe that we can demonstrate leadership in the way that we manage an executive search assignment, coach an executive, conduct a training program, develop a best practices human resources policy manual, design a compensation program, initiate talent management processes, or be the outsourced human resource department for a client company.

Leadership demands confidence, integrity, energy and commitment. Our associates offer a skill base and judgements honed by years of experience, successes, and learning. We are confident in our judgements and understand the value of integrity to ourselves and to our clients. We provide leadership for the acquisition and/or development of human capital and leadership in human resources best practices management.
